Choke Save Classes

Our ‘Choke Save’ class is compliant with the MA FDA Food Code and is for restaurants with 25+ seats. Even though our certificate is for restaurants this is a great class for anyone who has or works with young children and infants. Class is taught by a certified Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid instructor.

Class is about 2 hours and at the end you will have the skills to aid an adult, child, or infant in a choking emergency. We also touch on general emergency preparedness and any legal considerations that come with providing aid.

This is a hands on class and you will be physically interacting with the other participants to learn the skills.

At the end of class you will receive a certificate (physical and digital) that is valid for 2 years upon passing the skill requirements of the course.

Private class pricing:

2 hour class: $500 (maximum of 12 students)

More About our Classes

Why are these classes different?
Our Choke-Save class focuses on physical practice and building muscle memory. This way in an emergency you will know exactly what to do because you will have practiced the skills. We take the time to learn the differences between adults, children, infants and special circumstance populations such as pregnant women. We also keep our class sizes small to insure everyone is getting attention and feedback from the instructor. At the end we only hand out certificates to those who have learned the skills, not just attended and slept in the back. If you want to make sure your employees have passed a skills check and would be ready to handle choking emergency in your establishment this is the class for you.
